Green Machine toy – kids and teens love this big wheel tricycle

In the lead up to Christmas, many parents will be scratching their heads trying to come up with an original idea for a present for their kids. The Green Machine 2 could be a great gift idea that will be cherished long after Christmas has passed.

It won't be one of those presents that sparks a child's imagination for a few days and then ends up on the growing pile of unused, unwanted and increasingly dust laden toys in the bedroom cupboard.

From the consumer comments that have been received, the Green Machine 2 and it's predecessor are firm favorites and will be used for years to come. This short article will detail what you get with the Green Machine 2 and who would like it.

The Green machine 2 is the next generation Green Machine. In summation, it is a big wheel tricycle aimed at kids 6 years and up (don't be surprised to see the odd dad on one too, as they seem to love the Green Machine just as much). You might think, what ... a tricycle? That's for little kids isn't it? Well, yes and no.

You see this tricycle has plenty of unique features that you are unlikely to find on some standard trike. In short, it is a stunt trike that gives you the ability to pull off some gravity defying stunts that will get the blood racing and have your friends howling for more.

The machine is made by Huffy, who have been making bikes and trikes for a long time and constantly innovate in the industry. (Do you remember the radio bike or more recently the bike fitted with water pistols?) The Green machine 2 has a large front wheel (21 inch) that is the power source for the trike. Pedal power gives you the forward momentum, by turning a crankshaft on the big front wheel. You can get some pretty good speed up on a flat track.

The innovation is in the steering. You have dual control columns, much like you might see in the cockpit of an aircraft, except times 2. The dual hand controls steer the rear wheels and a disk braking system on the front wheel.

By messing around with the controls you can surprise yourself at the number of stunts you can pull, like 0, 360 and 540 degree turns. As the tricycle is so low to the ground and the control system ensures that you keep the center of gravity on the machine in the middle, it is unlikely that you will flip or tip over too. Once a child develops a little confidence in the machine he/she will be able to perform all sorts of stunts and will be eager to think up new tricks.

The Green Machine 2 give children the chance to get heaps of exercise and also develop their confidence and coordination skills as they drive this excitement machine. It beats the heck out of video games and the trend towards Wii Fit as a way to get exercise. Get some real exercise with the Green Machine 2 (and a bit of fresh air too).
